Who is she?

A sprinters physique by one of our favourite stallions in training with one of the best trainers in the world. Her stable name is USA.

Why her?

Sometimes it all adds up. We bred Starspangledbanner’s best horse at Tinnakill (our family farm), he was called State Of Rest and was trained by Joseph O’Brien. We have now teamed up with the world-class trainer to buy this speedy filly by the same sire. Joseph was bidding against us, so rather then make her expensive we teamed up with Joseph with him taking a significant share. We thought she has the fast-twitch muscles that will mean she will be quick and has the pedigree profile to keep improving like her paternal half-brother State of Rest. In fact, we’ve already named her in State of Rest’s honour by calling her State of Joy - the dream is Royal Ascot joy again.

What is the cost?

Each 1% equity share costs €730 and that’s all inclusive of costs (purchase price, syndicate commission, training fees, vets, farrier, our team to look after you and everything else in between) until 1 June 2024 and then just €100 a quarter. Where next?

Joseph feels she has the perfect profile for an early season auction maiden. These races are have high levels of prize money and are accompanied with a €10,000 voucher for the horse sales if you win. She is in full training and that will be our early target.
