Who is she?

Look - let’s cut to the chase - she’s a Cokoriko half-sister to Gerri Colombe for goodness sake. It’s a mouth warming proposition. We haven’t had an opportunity to race a filly with this level of pedigree before and we can’t wait. Her stable name is Gerri 2.0.

Why her?

When buying any racehorse a huge part of the puzzle of whether they will be talented is their pedigree. It’s the genes that give you the ability to run. What excites us so much about this lady is not only is she from jumps racing royalty being a sister to Gerri Colombe. She’s also got an incredible attitude to please. All her work to date has seen her determined to leave every ounce out on the gallop - the very same traits we’ve seen in her brother on the racecourse. Our money is on no syndicate in the UK or Ireland will race a better bred filly this year.

What is the cost? 

Each 1% lease share costs €385 and that’s all inclusive of costs all year until 1 January 2025. The lease term will expire on 1 January 2025 when you will be given the option to renew for a further year.

Where next?

She was broken by Jonathan Fogarty, followed by a spell of deep stamina work with Stevie Byrne. She’s now been with Gordon Elliot for three months with a debut only days away.

Gordon tells us she reminds him a lot of her hugely talented half-brother Gerri Colombe. He expects her to appreciate an opportunity to show off her stamina and shows real zeal over an obstacle too.
